This past year, SES volunteer members worked side by side with the SES Board of Directors (BOD) and Board of Advisors (BOA) to create our strongest conference experience yet in San Antonio, TX. We’ve continued to grow as a community to 54 Chapters in 18 countries, 7,200 members on the platform, and launched the Webinar series and “Stories from the Trenches” podcast. In addition to this, we’re excited to report we have a very active community with posts on the platform every 17 minutes.
During the BOD’s recent, two-day, annual strategic planning kickoff, we established goals and priorities for the coming year, as well as conducted a significant review of successes and areas for improvement. Our principle focus is on creating member value. Using the inputs from the member survey and conference experience room, we’re targeting three primary themes for the coming year:
Curate Actionable Content
*New! Monthly Member Newsletter
*New! SES Membership All Hands Call
*New! Development of Practitioner Toolkits
Ongoing Webinar Series
Ongoing “Stories from the Trenches” Podcasts
Facilitate improvements to the SES front-end website and discussion platform to support newly planned content creation vehicles, prioritization, and other content delivery tools. Upgrades will provide much-needed solutions for improved member communications and engagement.
Modernize the format to drive increased networking and engagement
Design and form strategic volunteer workgroups
Engage fresh perspectives! Let us know if you want to volunteer!
